Pre-felts are partially felted sheets of wool that can be cut into design elements, layered and then wet felted together into a single piece for table runners, rugs, wall hangings & much more. In this class, you will learn how to create templates and cut pre-felts to create crisp design elements in your finished piece. Then you will assemble the pre-felt design pieces on your base layer and wet felt them together into a lovely finished piece of art.  This class is intended to be the second part of a 2 class series, though you are not required to register for both (See April 20th class). Each participant will make one wet felted piece using 3-5 different colors and design features (approximately 8-inch x 12-inch finished size). All wool for the pieces will be provided including white or grey background fleece and a range of pre-felts for you to choose from. Open to all adult learners and individual children 14 years or older. Family groups are encouraged to attend with children 7 years of age or older.
